Eligibility criteria for IBPS PO Exam
All the Applicants applying for IBPS PO online application must ensure the IBPS PO eligibility criteria 2016 to avoid any rejection.
Every applicant is required to complete his/her minimum age of 20 years but not more than 30 years as on 1st July 2016.
IBPS PO Educational Qualification:
The Applicant must hold a Graduation Degree of any of the field i.e. Arts/Commerce/Science, from any Recognised board or Institution. All the applicants are required to upload the Marks or percentage obtained while registering online.
IBPS PO Exam Pattern Prelims & Mains 2016
The IBPS PO Exam going to conduct in October 2016 . So all the applicant must be familiar to the Exam pattern, the IBPS PO Exam is divided in Three stages, i.e. prelims, Mains and Common Interview.
First and Second stages i.e. prelims & main are also known as Common Written Exam (CWA) which is an objective type test is to be conducted in online mode. And the third stage i.e. Common Interview; in this the applicant will be called for the interview which is conducted by the Approved participating organizations, at different Districts.
The Syllabus of Common Written Exams is classified as follows:
- IBPS PO Prelims Exam Pattern 2016
IBPS PO course has the first stage as Prelims, In this stage the paper is divided in three sections, which are as follows:
Total time is 1 hour
- IBPS PO Mains Exam Pattern
IBPS PO course has the second stage as Mains, In this stage the paper is divided in Five sections, which are as follows
Total time is 2 hours

What is IBPS PO Selection Process
The Applied Candidates will be recruited according the IBPS PO Recruitment Process decide by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) as per participating banks.
- Prelims Written Test
- Mains Written Test
- Final Merit List
IBPS PO Recruitment Process
First two Phases include the above mentioned stages i.e. Common written Exam (Prelims & Mains). All the applicants are required to qualify both Prelims and mains by achieving minimum marks as per the cut off, which will be issued by the banks.
Last third Phase includes Common Interview test. This is the final selection test, which is faced by all the shortlisted and qualified applicants. The applicants are shortlisted on the basis of qualifying first and second phases.
Note : Negative marking: Both tests, i.e. prelims and mains have the1/4th negative marking penalty on each wrong question of the exam. That means 0.25 marks will be reduced on one wrong question
