UP Election Result Status 2017
The first phase of voting in Uttar Pradesh was held on February 11. This marked the end of first phase of polling in 73 constituencies. The first phase saw a voting of 64.22 percent, slightly better than last time. The 73 constituency spread in 15 districts of western UP went to poll in the first phase. Around 2.59 crore voters exercised their franchise to select their representative from among 839 candidates in the most populous state of Uttar Pradesh. Etah recorded 73 per cent turnout, Muzaffarnagar 65 per cent, Bulandshahr 64 per cent, Noida 60 per cent and Ghaziabad 57 per cent, T Venkatesh said. Result would be declared on March 11.
